Kerry Shook is pastor of one of the fastest growing churches in America, Fellowship of The Woodlands, located in The Woodlands, Texas, 31 miles north of Houston. Kerry and his wife, Chris, began the purpose-driven church in a home in The Woodlands with eight other people in 1993, and in 14 years the church has grown to 15,600 in average attendance each weekend. The vast majority of the people reached are from unchurched backgrounds.
Fellowship of The Woodlands moved into their 4,400 seat auditorium in August of 2001 after meeting in rented facilities for 7½ years.
Kerry has received numerous honors for his leadership of Fellowship of The Woodlands including the Church Health Award presented by Saddleback Church.
Kerry and the Fellowship of The Woodlands international television ministry can be seen on the Daystar Network, The CW in Houston and Los Angeles and KTBU in Houston. Kerry and Chris also have a total fitness website, www.thelifecoach.org, that helps people move from willpower to God’s power with the help of the ultimate Life Coach, Jesus Christ.
Kerry graduated from Baylor University and attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. Kerry and Chris have four awesome children.
